I wouldn’t be terrified about stages and phases my babies go through, unless they turn out not to be phases and more like personality. 😳 Today, I brought Lucy back to the doctor to have her ears rechecked since she had such a rough day yesterday. They were absolutely fine. The doctor did say it looked like she had caught a virus to go along with everything else, but that her ears were great. And of course, Lucy was fabulous the entire day, minus a stuffy nose and not wanting to sleep, AT ALL! This girl does not want to miss a thing! If anything is remotely happening around her, she will not sleep. For bedtime, everything has to be completely dark and silent or else she will not sleep. She is just a nosey rosey.

Screaming Sunday
Wow! If I would have known the outcome of church today, I think I would have stayed home. Lucy screamed for almost all of it! That is right, almost all 3 hours. 😳 It didn’t get any better when we got home either. I finally took her temperature, only to realize she had a low grade fever. I felt horrible. I quickly gave her some Tylenol and laid down with her for a nap, since she wouldn’t go to sleep on her own.
After Lu woke up from her nap, and the Tylenol had kicked in, she was so much happier. She played, and laughed, and smiled all the way to bedtime. She even enjoyed playing “Baby in a Box.” Silly girl! 😆
Happy Halloween!
Lucy sure had quite an eventful day today. Our neighborhood had its Fall Festival this morning, which was rescheduled from last weekend due to all the rain. It was a really nice activity. They had bounce houses, snow cones (from Luana’s), hot dogs, face painting, activity and treat stations, music, and the Wylie PD & FD brought some of their vehicles. Our kids were so excited to be part of a neighborhood that has such awesome activities. Even Nate joined us for the fun.
Lucy was a little off today. She was nursing very strangely, and not wanting much at all at a feeding. Luckily the activities distracted her for a bit. She even took a nap for a large portion of the festival.
After a bit of crazy too much candy hyperness…
…we went Trick or Treating with the Greens.
Lucy was not sure she liked all the spookiest out at Halloween. She followed Aiden to one door, and when he turned around and she saw his face paint she started sobbing. Not too far into it, she was sound asleep.
She sure was one of the sweetest Lucy’s ever. 😊 When she woke up, we tried to get some costume pictures, but the lighting in our new house is pretty bad at night.
