11 Months Went WAY Too Fast!

This little princess just turns our hearts to mush! We love her so much and cannot believe she has grown so big so fast! Even though a lot of her little babiness is gone, the joy we get from her cannot be replaced! We love you so much Lucy Lu! Happy 11 Months! ☺️    Lucy’s 11 Month Tidbits:                  Weighs 18lbs 10oz   28 3/4″ Tall    Has 5 1/2 Teeth (#6 broke through today, but it is just the corner edge) Loves to climb on EVERYTHING! 😳😩 Loves to read, jibber jabber, conduct music, sing songs, dance and sing to the ABC Song, & play peek a boo in the curtains. She has taken 5 consecutive steps unassisted, and today she stood up in the middle of the floor with nothing to hold on to. She is so close to running off! She will walk anywhere if she has your finger. Lucy is such a sweet sensitive girl. She is so social and loves attention From a Distance. We are finally sleeping a little better and averaging only waking up about 3 times a night. Signs Lucy does: Eat, More, Ball, Star, Bye, Drink, Fish, Dog, Bird, & Butterfly. Lucy is really spitting out words, it is hard to keep them in a list. Her main words are Hi, Happy, Go, Eat, Ball, Out, This, Yes, Uh Oh, Bubba, Mama, Dada, Brie, & Hadley. She is quite a parrot and will repeat many off the wall words, but those usually only happen one time. They make the kids laugh though.

First Day at Playgroup

Wow! We have not been to storytime in our library in ages! All the babies have grown up so much.
Lucy was a little apprehensive to jump in, but that was fine. It has been a long time.  After storytime, we went to our first playgroup date. This week it was at Olde City Park. Lu loved feeling like a big kid!

Playgroup wore her out! But not long enough to miss play time with her siblings.
Especially William. He has been so interactive with her lately. I love seeing it, and I know Lucy is really enjoying him.πŸ’•

Supporting the Y

Khaliyah tries so hard to resist taking yummies from Lucy. It is so hard, though, when Lucy waves them all in her face.
Lu is really getting around. I am getting nervous for the exploring phase to come.  While in Provo, we went to the BYU store. Natalie has been on this cheer bow kick, so I decided I would make her and Lucy matching BYU bows.
I think they were a hit. We dressed Lucy in her BYU shirt that Brie gave her for Christmas. (Good thing too because she won’t fit in it much longer.) She looked so adorable!
We went back to swim for the first time in 3 weeks! Lucy was pretty whiny and did not really enjoy it. I am hoping it was because she was tired and was out of practice.
After swim we visited Toys R Us to buy an early Bday present. Lucy loved Thomas, and almost everything else in the store too. I think we’re in trouble!

Glad to be Home

Some little lady was very worn out this morning! She slept until 10:30.  We just hung around the house for the day. Lucy enjoyed seeing and playing with all her toys.  And trying to climb on them! (Crazy girl!)   She kept playing Peek-A-Boo with me and Khaliyah.     Lucy was happy to have her swing and Khaliyah back.  I think Khaliyah felt the same. 😜

Good-Byes and Flying Home

I had to take some pictures of Lucy in the beautiful scenery before we left today.    Eric’s house is so nice, and has some very yummy tasting rocks!
Lucy had to try them out.  Niki, Jacob, and Savannah got in late last night from Arizona. They were visiting her parents and sister’s family before they move to Indiana. We sure missed seeing them. Savannah was so sweet to Lucy and showed her everything about her gardens.     We were able to get some great family pictures before we left for the airport.  I am REALLY going to miss everyone!    This trip was a blast, but way TOO short! Bye-Bye for now Utah! We’ll see you again in August. (Our plane ride home was fabulous and Lucy slept almost the entire way! Couldn’t be a better end.)

Cafe Rio and Conference

Brie and Tim were blessed with tickets to the Saturday morning session of General Conference.  Brie was so excited. I have to say I was a bit jealous. πŸ˜‰   We went back to Cafe Rio, after we picked her up from Temple Square, for lunch. I am going to majorly have Cafe Rio withdrawals.
Lucy LOVES it too! Their homemade tortillas are incredible!  The rest of the day we spent watching conference and just enjoying each other. (Lu loves her Uncle Eric! ☺️) It is so hard to believe we leave tomorrow!
