We allowed Natalie to take a “Hooky Day” from school today for a field trip. The weather has been gorgeous, so we went to the Arboretum. It was absolutely beautiful! If you get a forward looking smile, it is a great day! Lucy prefers to show her independence at not smiling nowadays. If it is on queue, she won’t do it. Little stinker!It was so wonderful having Natalie join us today. Lucy was SO excited to have her with us. Natalie really took her under her wing and showed her around all over. It was so sweet to see.William and Alex insisted that the fish liked acorns. I was not convinced. They were very diligent though.Lu loved to climb all the pumpkins! After a full day of playing in pumpkins, Lucy was one tired lady! (As we were putting the stroller in the trunk, we realized that we accidentally caught a hitch-hiking pumpkin in the tires of our stroller. He must have really wanted to escape. 😉
