Can’t find a more fabulous way to welcome the  New Year than with family! Miller and Quinn came to stay with us, and this waa the first year Brie and Nate weren’t gone at a dance. It was pretty awesome! We wanted to have a special treat, so we decided on fondue. However, the chocolate chips were not our normal Hershey’s. They wouldn’t melt! It took almost an hour, and lots of milk, to finally get something that resembled fondue sauce. No one seemed to mind though! And it did help pass the time. 😉 The highlight of our night was playing Pie Face. Everyone but Nate was in the action.I think Miller wins the award for best expressions!I have to say it IS pretty intimidating putting your face in that hole knowing you might get splatted!Everyone but Quinn and Lucy made it to midnight. We celebrated with poppers and sparkling cider, while our neighbors shot off the fireworks for the night.Poppers, horns, fireworks, and all, Lu slept right through it! Happy 2017!!! It’s going to be a great year!
