Sachse Library and Smith Library had their Halloween celebrations today. Once I picked Lucy up from school, it was a quick rush home for snacks, tracking down our scattered costumes, and then going to the Sachse library first.
We were trying to make it to both libraries, but quickly realized it was just too much to try and squeeze in. We enjoyed the party in Sachse. They had several games and photo spots throughout the library.
Most of all, Lucy still enjoyed reading books in a corner the best. This girl is turning into her big sister more and more!
She really loved Snoopy, but when I tried taking her picture with him, she is so short, she could see up his mask.
She was taken back by a person’s head being in there. Luckily, it was not too big of a deal and she still thought he was pretty cool.
Maybe someday Lucy will understand that you throw the beanbags from a distance back, not run them to the bucket. For now, that is just how she rolls. 😏
After we played all the games and collected our prizes and treats, we headed to the Monster Mash Boo Ball. They had a whole room set aside for a dance party, complete with spooky music and monsters teaching the kids how to move the way monsters do.
It was really cute. For a smaller library, they did a great job!
