A Little Evening Fun

Finding Home
Well, here it is! The place we will call Home soon.
We have finished all of our Design Center meetings, so hopefully soon, we will see our house coming to be.
For now, the beautiful sunflowers that have taken over our lot are a bright and cheerful sign of the wonderful memories that will be made here. We cannot wait!
Picking colors and styles was super stressful. Hopefully our selections will look fabulous in reality.
Kitchen floors, cabinets, countertops, and island colors.
Hardware for doors…
…and drawers.
Carpet color, cabinets, countertops, master bath tile, grout, tub and shower walls, and floor colors.
Our ONE! interior house color. (Hopefully it looks nice, otherwise I’ve got a TON of painting to do!)
Exterior stucco color, trim, and deck color. Next week the house gets plotted to our lot and then it’s ready to build. SO exciting!

Happy Birthday Damone!

Tuckered!
When you just keep going, with very little break, you end up sleeping from 7pm to 9 am!
At the Rec
Today the kids wanted to go swimming at the rec center. First, we had to find Alex some new dress shoes. His feet are growing like weeds!
That was rather unsuccessful. We only almost walked away with these size 2! Frozen light-up shoes for Lucy. (She was convinced that they fit her.) No luck on anything for Alex.
The kids were SO excited about the Rec center! It’s amazing! Rock walls, ice skating rinks, basketball courts, volleyball courts, tracks (indoors and out), two enormous swimming areas inside, and one outside, weight rooms, workout rooms, and so much more!! I’ve never seen anything like it.
The kids had a blast on the rock walls!

Even Lucy got in on the action.
Savannah and Natalie were so sweet helping her to climb. All went well, until she climbed too high for them to reach her. Luckily we saved her from catastrophe. 😂
We even got to watch a hockey game! It was a fabulous day. I’m super sad I couldn’t get pictures of swimming, but water and phones don’t mix. We swam for 4 hours!!! All the kids even went down the huge water slide multiple times. I say it was a thumbs up trip for all!
