Twin Days
Today was Twin Day at school. These boys sure make a cute pair of “twin” friends. ❤️
Sleepy Mornings
This time change definitely makes it hard to get up in the morning! At least I can squeeze in a little more snuggle time.
King Cake Love
Brie decided to try her hand at homemade king cake. I have to say, hers turned out AMAZING! I think I know who we’ll commission to makes ours next year.

A Little More Beauty and The Beast

Happy Birthday Sam!

Happy Mardi Gras! (And Choir Day)
I love catching cuddly moments between these two. They have the cutest relationship ever. Today, they were making funny cars and pictures together on Paint before we had to leave for Natalie’s choir concert.
Natalie’s concert was good, but I cannot wait to see what it is like at her new high school. I hear that they have an amazing choir.
The drummer for tonight’s performance showed up at the very end of the concert, not even dressed in concert attire. It was pretty disappointing for the rest of the performance.
Luckily Lucy was so tired from all our craziness, she slept through the entire concert! (Only when it was over, and Brigham and Landon came by, she woke up.)
Once we grabbed a quick dinner, we celebrated Mardi Gras with a king cake from Gourmandise Bakery. Definitely NOT a Louisiana king cake, but it worked for the night.
Alex found the baby.
Lucy was so proud of him. She gave him love pats. ❤️
Snow Is Made of What?!?

Happy 9th Birthday Alex!
I find it so crazy to believe that this little guy is 9! It seems like this time has flown by so very fast. Alex is such an amazing young man. He still has a good hold on my heart strings. I love that he still thinks I’m important enough to tell me he loves me every morning before school and gives me a hug. He makes sure that if I am home at night, he does the same before he goes to bed. He is such a hard worker and it truly shows. If he decides he wants something, he finds a way to make it happen, wether it’s lemonade sales or shoveling snow.
