Alex has his first official Pinewood Derby. It has been a bit challenging to create a car because all of our tools are in storage down south. With the help of amazing neighbors, though, his car came out pretty well.Alex was super excited for race night.His car even took 1st place on a few races.What scout wouldn’t be excited about that!Brother Halliday was super sweet and let the boys have turns to release the cars. It was a great night. Alex’s car did not place in the top three, but he had a lot of fun watching and cheering on all the cars. He’s such a good boy. I just love this happy smile. Way to go bud!
