Glorious Sunshine

Today was an absolutely beautiful day outside! We could not pass up the opportunity to go to the “Beach Park” (as Lucy calls it.)We are all loving this incredible Kentucky Blue Grass! It is so thick and lush. Hopefully we can get a yard of this really soon. It feels great on your feet too!We were able to see an Osprey fly overhead, which was a really neat experience. We have seen so many new birds that we had not seen in Texas. Lucy decided to enjoy the beach by becoming one with the sand. Then she made me make her a mermaid. This girl sure cracks me up. She can find such joy in the simplest of things. I think she would have stayed in the sand for hours if i would have let her. I’m just so worried about things causing her to break out. Her skin is so sensitive.William enjoyed trying to fish for a bit, until someone’s dog ate all his bait. Then he decided to swing with Lucy.I love when she tries to challenge William. He is so sweet with her, and sometimes let her win. William is such a good influence on Lucy. He pushes her in ways I wouldn’t usually, and allows her to use her imagination to enjoy life. I wish i could record all their conversations. They can be so funny. After the park, William really wanted to check out the trails above our house. We took a bit of a drive and the view was stunning! It is pretty hard to see where the trails lead to, but once the snow melts a little more, we’ll go check them out. Hopefully I’ll be able to keep up with him. šŸ˜‚
