Santa Success

After many attempts to see Santa without a huge line to wait in, we finally were able to get our picture. And this year, absolutely NO tears or coaxing. Lucy went right up to him and sat on his lap. She didn’t look him straight in the eyes, 😏 but she sat there and smiled beautifully and told him what she wanted for Christmas.Whatever could that be?!

Chocolate!

It sure gave Santa a good laugh. 🤣The boys wanted nothing to do with sitting on Santa’s lap, so I just took a Minion picture to show they witnessed the whole event. They were so relieved we didn’t wait in the humongous line, almost down to the frontage road of the freeway, at Bass Pro Shop! Firewheel was awesome! We only had one family in front of us in line.Lucy was so proud of herself. We even got ice-cream to celebrate her Big Girl Santa Success! After we got home, Lucy decided she needed to wrap all her presents for those she loves before Santa comes with her chocolate. She was so careful and gentle in making sure they were perfect under the tree. Can’t wait for Christmas morning!

Preschool Christmas Party

What a great way to end the first semester of preschool today. Lucy had a singing performance in class first, and then had treats, games, and a craft with her teachers and friends. Aside from her finger up her nose during her first song 😱, she belted out the rest, complete with dance moves and hand motions. 🤣 She’s a crazy little mess. 😊❤️Ms. Natalie made this adorable snowman toss game. It was a huge hit with all the kids!We made snowmen cheesesticks this go round. It seems like snowmen are our theme this Christmas. The class had reindeer juice, reindeer brownies, Grinch Claus Fruit skewers, and oatmeal cream pies. It was perfect since they had just eaten lunch 45minutes before the party, and had their chocolate milk bar at the Polar Express earlier in the morning. The kids made these cute Nativity crafts to help remind them of the true meaning of Christmas.Lucy absolutely LOVES her Ms. Emily! She loves her Ms. Amanda too, even though she can be a stinker to her sometimes. She even kept telling her, “Merry Christmas!” over and over again as we were heading out the door. We sure LOVE our GPA! So grateful for this amazing school and for all the love and dedication they have given our crazy Lu! We are truly blessed to have them.
