Lucy’s Car

So the kids have decided that Lucy needs a car. They use her little rocker to take her to “Sonic” and “7-11”. Today Natalie and Amanda decided to make the rocker actually into a car. They had so much fun doing it, they spent 3 hrs working on it. I think it came out great.  I think Lucy likes it too!

Cranky Day

Today started off with Lucy in a very good mood. However, 9:00 church plays a bit of havoc in her daily schedule. She usually does not wake up for the day until 9 or 9:30, but in order to make it on time, we have to wake her up by 8:15. It totally throws off her nursing and sleeping schedule. By the time sacrament started, Lucy started to get fussy, and it all went downhill from there. She blew out her diaper all over her clothes, and then just could not go to sleep. She was so tired. I didn’t end up making it to any of my meetings. Lucy and I just hung out in the mother’s lounge or tried walking outside the rest of church. Shannon managed to snap a smiley moment though, that I’ll treasure forever. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Visiting Ms. Nicole, Mr. Dave, and the Fur Babies

With Big Alex off at A&M, we thought it would be fun to surprise Ms. Nicole with a visit. Lucy was a bit fussy, but we got in a little happy time with her. It was hilarious to see how protective the dogs became of Lucy. Especially Brandi. She acted just like a little fur covered mommy. When Lucy would cry, Brandi would get all concerned.

Going to the pool

We get asked to go to the pool often, but mom and Lulu are unable to swim. We usually just hang out on the side, soaking in the fresh air and sunshine.

Not ready to wake up yet.
Maybe Lu’s swimsuit will still fit next summer. ๐Ÿ˜•
