Lucy sure loves playtime with Nate. He is so great with her! He can always get her smiling and chatting. 

The big kids are really trying to get Lucy to laugh. We just haven’t found her laugh button yet. Bubbles were fun, but didn’t work.  

Not sure if it is still her shots or something I ate, but boy Lucy has had a rough past 24hrs. She started really crying early afternoon yesterday, and that continued pretty much the rest of the day. She even had a hard time going down for the night, which isn’t like her. Then, she woke up so many times I lost track of how many times I got up with her. The only thing that actually helped her stay asleep was for me to hold her. Great for her, but that ended my night’s sleep. I LOVE holding my sweet little girl, I just hope I’ll make it through the day today.  

Today I am starting a blog for Lucy. I feel bad that she is almost 3 months old and I am just getting this going. It has been a crazy past 6 months! I am going to try and do my best to input things that I can recall up to this point. We’ll see how that goes. 😉 For now, we are trying to enjoy every moment with our special little angel that we can. She is truly a huge blessing to our family, and I am so grateful for her.

Sweet baby girl got her first round of immunizations today and now has a fever. Please pray that this is all it does. Immunizations worry me.   

I have finally come to realize that my sweet Lucy has reflux. After feeling like the world’s worst mommy taking 2 months to figure it out, now I am becoming Mama Bear. I went to the pharmacy to get her medication and our insurance has once again denied it. When I asked if I could just pay out of pocket for it, she said sure. It would be $497!!!!! They sell this over the counter for $15! Just not in the form an infant can take. For the same exact medication in a solutab there is a $500 difference?!? Really!?! Now to figure out what we are going to do from here. 😕

Moving in we finally found Lucy’s bathtub! Thanks Aunt Emmy! She loves it!   

This is the BEST video ever! We have been trying to figure out how to capture how much Lucy LOVES the Piano Guys Jurassic Park. Brianna did it! The Piano Guys should totally market a lullaby album. 

10 sweet moments with a newborn I do not want to forget:1. How their lower lip quivers when they cry

2. How they always seem to bounce back into the position they were in the womb (For Lucy that was right hand pressed against her cheek, right foot tucked under her bum, and head turned left and tilted upward)

3. Baby giggles and smiles while they’re sleeping

4. Nursing baby lips, when they’re sleeping and not nursing

5. Fuzzy fingers and fuzzy toes (Where does all that fuzz come from anyways?!!)

6. Being kneaded (I guess it is not only something cats do)

7. They have a vampire suck! When they are hungry, they’ll suck on almost anything!

8. Sometimes they look milk drunk! Full, Happy, & Dazed

9. Little babies can sure make the loudest burps

10. When they finally make eye contact, smile, and coo at you, it’s priceless!
